This website is designed to disseminate information on available jobs and available candidates in the international market for research economists. We hope to make this market more efficient by lowering the costs of creating a match. The typical job will be as a university professor or as an economist in a research department of a bank, financial or consulting firm, governmental institution or non-governmental organization.
Institutions can list their job openings after registering. Candidates looking for a job can register and list their characteristics and contact details, as well as upload CVs and job market papers. A search engine helps to find what is available on the other side of the market. The search engine may be used without registering.
Candidates and institutions wishing to register, please click on the above links for access.
Candidates have the option of expressing interest in a given job opening. Institutions must get in touch directly with the candidate, if they wish to receive more information from them, or if they wish to schedule an interview.
This page is published and maintained by the European Economic Association (EEA) but it lists jobs all over the world.
We also provide links to various events where institutions and candidates meet to hold job market interviews. We would like to encourage European and Worldwide institutions and candidates to set up interviews at these physical job markets. In order to register in those physical job markets, you will need to do it separately, by following the links above.
This page was created originally at the initiative of the Spanish Economic Association, which has kindly transferred its management to the European Economic Association.
